Darragh O'Connell
Darragh O'Connell (born 19 December 1990) is an Irish sportsperson. He has played club hurling with Cuala and Abbeydorney, and inter-county hurling with Kerry and Dublin. Club Abbeydorney O'Connell first played with Abbeydorney. In 2008, he captained the club to the 2008 Kerry Minor Hurling Championship. Cula In 2015, he joined Dublin club Cuala. He picked up a Dublin Senior Club Hurling Championship in his first season. In 2016, he made it back-to-back Dublin Senior Club Hurling Championship titles, and later added a Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship. Cula later qualified for the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship final on St.Patrick's Day 2017. Christy Ring Cup
The Christy Ring Cup () is an annual hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. Originally introduced as a second-tier competition, it is currently the third tier overall in the inter-county hurling championship system. Each year, the champions of the Christy Ring Cup are promoted to the Joe McDonagh Cup, and the lowest finishing team is relegated to the Nicky Rackard Cup. Kildare are the 2022 title-holders. The competition is named in honour of Christy Ring, a legendary player from Cork. The Christy Ring Cup, which was introduced in 2005, replaced the All-Ireland B Hurling Championship (1974-2004). Cuala GAA club (or ''Cuala GAC'', ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Dalkey in the south of County Dublin, Ireland. It fields teams in Dublin GAA competitions. Cuala is primarily based in a sports and social centre in Dalkey, and also has playing facilities in Glenageary, Meadow Vale/Clonkeen Park, Shankill and Sallynoggin. Abbeydorney () is a village in County Kerry, Ireland. Located north of the county town of Tralee, the village had a population of 418 as of the 2016 census of Ireland. Abbeydorney falls within the civil parish of O'Dorney. The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into six divisions, with either five or six teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. 2011 Christy Ring Cup
The 2011 Christy Ring Cup was the seventh season of the Christy Ring Cup since its establishment in 2005. Teams A total of eight teams contested the Christy Ring Cup, including seven sides from the 2010 Christy Ring Cup and one promoted team from the 2010 Nicky Rackard Cup. Both Derry and Mayo failed to win any of their games in the 2010 Christy Ring Cup and qualified for the relegation play-off.
