The English words Daoism () and Taoism ( or ) are alternative spellings for the same-named Chinese philosophy#Daoism, Chinese philosophy and Religion in China#Taoism, religion. The alveolar process () or alveolar bone is the thickened ridge of bone that contains the tooth sockets on the jaw bones (in humans, the maxilla and the mandible).
