Jones's fellow band members are Tom Fletcher (rhythm guitarist and vocals), Dougie Poynter (bass and vocals), and Harry Judd (drums). Jones is married to former Miss England, Georgia Horsley. McFly McFly rose to fame in 2004, partly due to their association with Busted; McFly supported Busted on their A Present for Everyone Tour. Jones met Fletcher when he auditioned for the "boy band" V (he mistakenly perceived V as similar in style to the future Busted). He played at club level for Halifax ( Heritage № 1186) (two spells), and the Keighley Cougars (two spells), as a or . Background Jones was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. Playing career Jones played for Halifax amateur teams, Ovenden and King Cross before turning professional and signing for Halifax. He made his first team début aged 17 years and 200 days in what was to be his only Super League appearance, Halifax's last game of Super League VIII in 2003. He remained with Halifax until 2006 when he joined Keighley Cougars for the start of the 2007 season. Danny Jones (born October 24, 1968) is a retired American professional basketball player. Career He was a standout for the University of Wisconsin but was never drafted to the National Basketball Association (NBA). Instead, he played for the Rockford Lightning in the 1990–91 Continental Basketball Association season where he averaged 12.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 24 games. The following season, he played for the La Crosse Catbirds that won the league championship. From there, Jones proceeded to the World Basketball League where he suited up for Erie Wave and normed 20.6 points per game. Initially, out of college, he saw action for Efes Pilsen in Turkey, and then went to the Philippines to play for Ginebra San Miguel in the Philippine Basketball Association. Daniel Boyd Jones (born August 16, 1950) is an American businessman and politician. He served four terms as the mayor of Charleston, West Virginia from 2003 to 2019. Jones grew up in Charleston and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had a variety of jobs before becoming an elected official. Jones served a term in the West Virginia House of Delegates and a term as Sheriff of Kanawha County before being elected mayor of Charleston.
