Daniel O'Sullivan (born 1 December 1980) is an English artist of Irish ancestry, multi-instrumentalist and composer from Manchester, England, best known for playing in experimental art-rock bands Grumbling Fur, Guapo, Miasma & the Carousel of Headless Horses, Ulver, Sunn O))), Æthenor, Laniakea, Miracle, Mothlite, and This Is Not This Heat. He's also released solo work under his own name. O'Sullivan is recognised for exploring a wide range of styles, including neo-classical composition, progressive/psychedelic rock, free-form improvisation, cosmic jazz, minimalist drone, ethereal synth-pop and outer-limits folk music. Daniel O'Sullivan (priest)
Daniel O'Sullivan (19 March 1846 – 3 February 1928) was an Irish Roman Catholic priest and theologian. Personal life and education Daniel O'Sullivan was born on March 19, 1846, in Listowel, County Kerry, Ireland, the fourth child of Eugene Owen O’Sullivan and Margaret Nolan. He studied theology at the All Hallows Major Seminary in Dublin and was ordained on June 24, 1871, in All Hallows Chapel by Bishop William Whelan, O.C.D., who from 1848 to 1850 was Vicar Apostolic of Bombay. Daniel O'Sullivan died on February 3, 1928, and was buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, where a large monument stands in his memory. Priesthood In August 1871, O'Sullivan moved to California. He was pastor of the Saint Joseph Church in Crescent City from 1871 to 1872 and founding pastor of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Smartsville from 1872 to 1878. Danny O'Sullivan (6 January 1923 – 28 February 1990) was an English boxer who was the British bantamweight champion between 1949 and 1951, and who also fought for the British Empire, European, and world titles. Danny married Lilian and they had 2 daughters Pat and Carol. Pat married Graham Walsh and had 2 sons, Nick and Steve. Carol married Mike Newby and had a son and a daughter, Simon and Kate. Career Born in London, O'Sullivan started boxing in a ring that his sewerman father built in the back garden of their Islington house. Daniel James O'Sullivan (born March 3, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6′10″ (2.08 m), 250 lb (114 kg) center born in The Bronx, New York, O'Sullivan attended Fordham University. He played with the Omaha Racers of the Continental Basketball Association, and from the 1990–91 NBA season until 1996, he played with five different NBA teams: Utah Jazz (1990–91), New Jersey Nets (1992–93), Milwaukee Bucks (1992–93), Detroit Pistons (1993–94) and Toronto Raptors (1995–96). He has played for Washington Bullets during the 1993 pre-season (but not in the regular season). Daniel Joseph O'Sullivan (1927–2013) was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a full-forward for the Cork senior team. Born in Carrigadrohid, County Cork, O'Sullivan first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-four when he first linked up with the Cork junior team. He made his senior debut in the 1950 championship. He was a Munster runner-up on two occasions. At club level, O'Sullivan won one championship medal in the junior grade with Canovee. Throughout his career O'Sullivan made five championship appearances for Cork. He retired from senior inter-county football following the conclusion of the 1953 championship.
