Daniel Morse
Daniel Rogan Morse (born 1944) is an American Anglican bishop currently serving as bishop ordinary of the Reformed Episcopal Church's Diocese of the Central States. Biography Morse was married for 48 years to Marianne Porcher McCravey (1944–2015). They had four children. Morse was rector of Immanuel Church in Germantown, Tennessee. He also served as a convocation dean, standing committee member and dean of the external studies program at Cummins Theological Seminary. Anglican Church In North America
The Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) is a Christian denomination in the Anglican tradition in the United States and Canada. It also includes ten congregations in Mexico, two mission churches in Guatemala, and a missionary diocese in Cuba. Headquartered in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, the church reported 974 congregations and 122,450 members in 2021. The first archbishop of the ACNA was Robert Duncan, who was succeeded by Foley Beach in 2014. The Reformed Episcopal Church (REC) is an Anglican church of evangelical Episcopalian heritage. It was founded in 1873 in New York City by George David Cummins, a former bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church. The Diocese of the Central States is a Reformed Episcopal Church and an Anglican Church in North America diocese. The diocese has 20 congregations in the American states of Alabama, Northwest Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Peter F. Manto (born 1950) is an American Anglican bishop currently serving as bishop ordinary of the Reformed Episcopal Church's Diocese of the Central States. Early life, education, and career Manto grew up in an Italian-American Catholic family and attended Catholic schools. He began his higher education at St. Bonaventure University and completed his degree in 1972 at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. While at BGSU, he converted to evangelical Protestantism and participated in the Jesus People movement. He became part of a nondenominational student prayer meeting on the BGSU campus, engaging in street evangelism, Bible study and prayer.
