Daniel Owain Lloyd (born 26 July 1982, Rhosllannerchrugog, Wales) is a bilingual Welsh actor and singer-songwriter. He is the frontman for the Welsh language band Daniel Lloyd a Mr Pinc, who reformed in 2017 after a 6-year break, as well as a solo artist and established actor. Biography His acting credits include four rock and roll pantomimes at Clwyd Theatr Cymru as well Mickey in ''Tipyn o Stad'' and Dafydd Meirion in ''A470'' for ITV Wales. Lloyd's music career has seen him release two albums, ''Goleuadau Llundain'' (2005) with Mr Pinc, which reached number 4 in Radio Cymru's Welsh Language Music Chart, and ''Tro Ar Fyd'' (2009) as a solo artist, which reached number 3 in the same listings. He has also appeared as Blondel/Will Scarlet in ''Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood'' at Clwyd Theatr, Cymru. He currently lives in Denbigh with his speech therapist girlfriend Elen. Denbigh
Denbigh (; cy, Dinbych; ) is a market town and a community in Denbighshire, Wales. Formerly, the county town, the Welsh name translates to "Little Fortress"; a reference to its historic castle. Denbigh lies near the Clwydian Hills. History Denbigh Castle, together with its town walls, was built in 1282 by order of King Edward I. The Burgess Gate, whose twin towers adorn the symbol on Denbigh's civic seal, was once the main entrance into the town. The first borough charter was granted to Denbigh in 1290, when the town was still contained within the old town walls. It was the centre of the Marcher Lordship of Denbigh. ''Rownd a Rownd'' ( en, "Round and Round") is a Television in Wales, Welsh soap opera created by Rondo Media (formally Ffilmiau’r Nant) and shown on S4C since 11 September 1995. It was claimed to be the first Celtic-related language soap specifically directed at a youth audience. It is set in the fictional harbour town of Glanrafon in Anglesey. At its inception, the soap was targeted towards an adolescent and young adult audience, but it now has broadened its appeal to all age groups. Beginning with a small cast of characters, the serial now has upwards of forty cast members. The soap is consistently in the top 20 most watched programmes of the week on S4C, the show currently averaging around twenty thousand viewers per episode.
