Daniel Johnson (footballer)
Daniel Anthony Johnson (born 8 October 1992) is a Jamaican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Stoke City and the Jamaica national team. Johnson began his career with Aston Villa and after loan spells at Yeovil Town, Chesterfield and Oldham Athletic he joined Preston North End in January 2015 on a permanent transfer. He spent eight-and-a-half years at Deepdale making 336 appearances, scoring 57 goals before joining Stoke City in July 2023. Career Early career Born in Jamaica, Johnson played for Crystal Palace as a schoolboy before moving on to Aston Villa's academy. Johnson's potential was recognised following the 2010–11 season. Rosenborg Ballklub, commonly referred to simply as Rosenborg () or RBK, is a Norwegian professional football club from Trondheim that plays in Eliteserien. The club has won a record 26 league titles, a shared record 12 Norwegian Football Cup titles and have played more UEFA matches than any other Norwegian team. Thomas William Cleverley (born 12 August 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Watford. After starting his career in the youth set-up at Bradford City, Cleverley joined Manchester United at the age of 12. Between 2007 and 2009, he played for Manchester United's reserve team and occasionally in first-team friendlies. Christopher Lloyd Smalling (born 22 November 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Serie A club Roma. Smalling represented the England national team from 2011 to 2017. During his youth, Smalling played for the Millwall academy before joining non-League club Maidstone United.
