Danger Ahead (1935 Film)
''Danger Ahead'' is a 1935 American crime drama film directed by Albert Herman, produced and released by Victory Pictures Corporation. Plot Captain Matthews is paid $40,000 for a silk shipment from China. The Green Eagle Café owner has the captain called away for a phone call but is robbed of the money. Local reporter sees the robbery and after a fist fight gets the money back. He runs into the local delicatessen and hides the money. The reporter gets a headline story and gets to meet the captain's daughter. Conrad and his henchman pose as the captain to get the cash returned. Eddie Phillips (actor)
Eddie Phillips (August 14, 1899 – February 22, 1965) was an American actor. He appeared in 180 films between 1913 and 1952. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died in a traffic accident in Hollywood, California. He started as a child actor and during his career also amassed an extensive list of Broadway and television musical credits; once performing in the Soviet Union. Phillips is prominently featured on the 1960 revival cast recording of '' Oh, Kay!'' in the title song and "Fidgety Feet." Richard Earl Cramer (July 3, 1889 – August 9, 1960) was an American actor in films from the late 1920s to the early 1950s. Burly, menacing and gravel-voiced, Cramer specialized in villainous roles in many low-budget westerns, but is today best remembered for his several appearances with Laurel and Hardy. Earl Dwire (October 3, 1883 – January 16, 1940), born Earl Dean Dwire, was an American character actor who appeared in more than 150 movies between 1921 and his death in 1940. Dwire acted for three years in stock theater with companies in Portland and Seattle. In December 1912, he joined the American Theater company in Spokane, Washington, and shortly after was named the company's manager when the previous manager resigned. In 1921, he acted with, and was the director of, the Wright Players. Gordon S. Griffith (July 4, 1907 – October 12, 1958) was an American assistant director, film producer, and one of the first child actors in the American movie industry. Griffith worked in the film industry for five decades, acting in over 60 films, and surviving the transition from silent films to talkies—films with sound. During his acting career, he worked with Charlie Chaplin, and was the first actor to portray Tarzan on film.
