''Dancing with the Stars'' returned for a seventh series on 7 January 2024 on RTÉ One. On 29 August 2023, RTÉ confirmed that the show would return for a seventh season with hosts, Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy returning for fifth and second season, respectively. On 5 September 2023, professional dancer, and reigning champion, Emily Barker announced her departure from the show. On 31 October 2023, Maurizio Benenato confirmed that he, too, would not return having left the show two weeks into the previous season for personal reasons. On 12 November 2023, after six seasons, John Nolan became the third professional dancer to announce their decision to leave the programme. On 17 October 2023, it was reported that Irish dancers, Jillian Bromwich and Montel Hewson would join the professional line-up. Jennifer Zamparelli (née Maguire) (born 9 April 1980) is an Irish comedian and television presenter. She is known for her role on the TV show ''Republic of Telly'', where she was a primary writer, and as co-host of the 2FM morning show ''Breakfast Republic'' with Bernard O'Shea and Keith Walsh. Simone Arena (born 7 August 1991) is an Italian dancer and choreographer. Best known as former Italian Ballroom and Latin Champion, Arena joined the third series of the Belgian version of ''Dancing with the Stars''. Early life Arena was born in Catania, Italy. Laura Nolan (born 31 May 1994) is an Irish ballroom dancer and choreographer. Early life Nolan was born in Lucan in Dublin. She is trained in ballroom, latin and ballet dancing. Professional career Nolan first began dancing competitively at the age of five when she competed in the All Ireland Championships in June 1999 with her first partner, Luca Mastropietro. Wild Youth (band)
Wild Youth are an Irish pop band formed in Dublin in 2016, consisting of members David Whelan, Conor O'Donohoe, Ed Porter and Callum McAdam. They represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "We Are One".
