Damn The Machine
Damn the Machine was an American progressive metal band founded by ex-Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland and David Judson Clemmons, and is considered to be a vital pioneer in the genre of progressive rock and metal. Known for their debut self-titled album, including lyrically relevant subjects and a unique blend of musical styles. Since their creation in 1991, and disbanding in 1994, the band has remained dormant. In recent news, the band released Day One' in October 2021, which consists of the 12 original tracks as demo versions, before they were eventually re-recorded by producer Brian Malouf for their debut album. Howie Weinberg is an American audio mastering engineer with over 2,257 mastering credits, three TEC Awards, 21 Grammy Awards, two Juno Awards, and one Mercury Prize. Career Weinberg mastered Herbie Hancock's 1983 album ''Future Shock''. Other mastering works include the Beastie Boys' ''Licensed to Ill'' and Nirvana's ''Nevermind''. Weinberg began working in the mail room at Masterdisk in 1979, delivering recording tapes in New York City. Mastering engineer Bob Ludwig acted as his mentor. David Judson Clemmons
David Judson Clemmons is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is well known for his groundbreaking musical work in the genre of progressive-metal and post-rock. He is credited as the founder of the bands Damn the Machine, Jud, The Fullbliss & Ministers of Anger. Career Ministers of Anger Ministers Of Anger was a progressive thrash project formed by Clemmons, which included future Machine Head drummer Dave McClain, both also involved with the band Murdercar alongside former Detente guitarist Ross Robinson. Between 1988 and 1991, Ministers Of Anger recorded three demos and one of their songs, "The Great Escape", appeared on Metal Blade's '' Metal Massacre XI'' compilation.
