Dakshayagnam (1962 Film)
''Dakshayagnam'' is a 1962 Indian Telugu-language Hindu mythological film, produced and directed by Kadaru Nagabhushanam under the Varalakshmi Pictures banner. It stars S. V. Ranga Rao, Devika, and N. T. Rama Rao, with music composed by Saluri Hanumantha Rao. This was N. T. Rama Rao's 100th film which was also dubbed in Tamil with the same title. Plot The film begins with Daksha Prajapathi (S. V. Ranga Rao) becoming the king of the Prajapathis, all the gods give him the most effective powers and an oath that no one will cross his words. After that, he is blessed with 2 sons and also adopts 27 girls. Soon after, Adi Parashakti was born as his daughter Sathi (Devika), who is the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva (N. T. Rama Rao). Aarudhra
Arudra (born Bhagavatula Sadasiva Sankara Sastry; 31 August 1925 – 4 June 1998) was an Indian author, poet, lyricist, translator, publisher, dramatist, playwright, and an expert on Telugu literature. He is also known for his works in Telugu cinema as a lyricist, dialogue writer, and story writer. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1987. Early life Aarudra was born in Yelamanchili, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India on 31 August 1925. Aarudra is the nephew of Telugu poet Sri Sri. Mikkilineni Radhakrishna Murthy (7 July 1914 - 23 February 2011) was an Indian actor and thespian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He was the founder of the theater group ''Praja Natya Mandali''. He has received the honorary ''Kalaprapoorna'' from Andhra University, for his contributions towards Telugu theater and cinema. Radha Jayalakshmi
Radha (born 1932) and Jayalakshmi (1932 - 2014), popularly known as Radha Jayalakshmi ( ta, ராதா ஜெயலட்சுமி), were an Indian Carnatic music vocalist duo as well as playback singers in films in the 1940s and 1950s. They later became teachers and trained notable Carnatic music singers. Jayalakshmi was the playback singer of the duo, but was credited as Radha Jayalakshmi in the cine field. Radha was her cousin and singing partner on stage performances. Madhavapeddi Satyam (11 March 1922 – 18 December 2000) was an Indian playback singer and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He entered films as a singer-actor in Y. V. Rao's Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie ''Ramadas'' in the year 1946, playing the role of Kabir. However, he became more popular as a playback singer due to his booming voice. Narada ( sa, नारद, ), or Narada Muni, is a sage divinity, famous in Hindu traditions as a travelling musician and storyteller, who carries news and enlightening wisdom.
