Albert Gustaf Dahlman
Albert Gustaf Dahlman (born Anders Gustaf Dalman; 17 February 1848 – 30 July 1920) was a Swedish executioner. He was the last executioner in Sweden, as well as the last to carry out capital punishment in Sweden (of Alfred Ander in 1910), the last by means of beheading by hand (in 1900), and the last to execute a woman (in 1890, his first). After a military career (he was stationed with Västmanlands regiment and reached the rank of corporal), Dahlman was selected for the position of executioner for the capital Stockholm from 200 applicants on 5 August 1885. From 1887 he was the sole executioner in the country, after Per Petter Christiansson Steineck had emigrated to the United States. Hjalmar Reinhold Dahlman
Hjalmar Reinhold "Ray" Dahlman (June 3, 1909 – October 7, 1993) was a farmer and political figure in Saskatchewan. He represented Bengough from 1960 to 1964 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) member. The son of August Dahlman and Martha Holmoren, both natives of Sweden, he was born on the family farm near Estevan, Saskatchewan and was educated in the area. Dahlman worked on the family farm and then settled on his own farm near Readlyn. He served 11 years on the Hepworth School Board, serving six terms as chair, and then served six years on the Assiniboia School Unit Board. Dahlman also served as district delegate to the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and as president of the local co-op. In 1932, he married Myrtle Linda Wagenius. James Charles Dahlman (December 15, 1856 – January 21, 1930), also known as Jim Dahlman, Cowboy Jim and Mayor Jim, was elected to eight terms as mayor of Omaha, Nebraska, serving the city for 20 years over a 23-year-period. A German-American and an agnostic, Dahlman grew up in a ranching area and started working as a Texas cowboy. He was elected as a county sheriff and small town mayor in western Nebraska before moving to Omaha. Called the "perpetual Mayor" in Omaha, Dahlman was seen by many as a cover man for the city's vice elements. Earning the reputation as the "wettest mayor in America", Dahlman saw the number of saloons in Omaha double during his first 10 years as mayor. Noah Dahlman (born April 4, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Gifu Swoops of the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball at Wofford College, where he was an All-American. College career Dahlman came to Wofford from Braham, Minnesota, where he led Braham Area High School to three state championships. A 6'7" forward, Dahlman became one of the best players in Terrier history. For his career, he scored 2,013 points – most in Wofford's Division I history. Toni Dahlman (born 3 September 1979) is a Finnish people, Finnish former professional ice hockey player. He played 22 games in the National Hockey League with the Ottawa Senators. Playing career Dahlman began playing hockey in the first division Kiekko-Kissat in the 1996–97 season and moved on to the Jokerit junior team, and eventually to Jokerit for the 1998–99 season. In 2000 Dahlman transferred to Ilves (ice hockey), Ilves and went on to win the bronze medal and the 2001 Jarmo Wasama memorial trophy as best rookie.
