Daan Disveld (born 20 January 1994) is a Dutch footballer playing as a right back for DOVO in the Dutch Derde Divisie. Club career He joined the youth academy of NEC when he was 5 years old. He was given a 2-year professional contract in April 2011. On 18 January 2013, he extended his contract till 2015. In December 2013, he was included in the squad for a league match against Groningen. He then finally made his debut against the club. Disveld played his second match for NEC in a KNVB Cup match against the same team, but this time NEC lost 5–2. After his expiring contract had not been extended, Disveld signed for two years with Eerste Divisie side FC Den Bosch. International career He was the captain of the Netherlands U17 team which won the 2011 UEFA European Under-17 Championship after a 5–2 win over Germany U17. Daniel Jan "Daan" Jippes (born 14 October 1945) is a Dutch cartoonist who's known for his work on Disney comics. In the 1980s and 1990s he drew many covers for Gladstone Publishing's Disney magazines. In the 1990s he redrew for Egmont (media group), Egmont old Junior Woodchucks stories from the 1970s, originally written by Carl Barks and drawn by John Carey (comics), John Carey, Kay Wright and Tony Strobl. Daan Janzing (born 17 November 1981) is a Dutch guitarist and producer. He is one of the guitar players for the Dark rock band My Favorite Scar. Biography Janzing was born in the Netherlands and started playing the guitar at the age of nine. He was invited by Ivar de Graaf of Within Temptation to play with Kingfisher Sky. Together they recorded that band's first album ''Hallway'' (2007). In 2010, Janzing left the band for his new project, My Favorite Scar. Daan Huizing (born 22 October 1990) is a Dutch professional golfer. Huizing entered the European Tour qualifying school at the end of 2012. Because of his high ranking as an amateur, he was exempt from the first stage of qualifying. He made it through to the third stage where he finished 80th, earning a place in some Challenge Tour events for 2013. Huizing won twice in 2013, at the Northern Ireland Open Challenge and two weeks later at the Kharkov Superior Cup. He was also joint runner-up in the Kärnten Golf Open and finished the year in sixth place in the Challenge Tour standings, and graduated to the European Tour for 2014. Huizing had a disappointing 2014 with best finishes of tied for 12th place. Since 2015 Huizing has mostly played on the Challenge Tour. Daniël ("Daan") de Groot (25 May 1933 – 8 January 1982) was a road bicycle and track cyclist from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. In the 1952 Olympics, De Groot was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the men's 4,000 m team pursuit, alongside Adrie Voorting, Jan Plantaz and Jules Maenen. In 1954, he became a professional road cyclist, which he remained until 1962. During the 1955 Tour de France, De Groot was in the thirteenth initially dropped by the peloton, and had problems with the heat. When he passed a field with cabbage, he took two leaves and put them in his neck and on his head, to protect him from the sun. He regained his strength, and was able to get back to the peloton. Daniël Goulooze
Daniël "Daan" Goulooze (28 April 1901 – 10 September 1965) was a Dutch Jewish construction worker who was a committed communist and resistance fighter. In 1925, he became a member of the Communist Party of the Netherlands (CPN) and by 1930 had become an executive member of the organisation. In 1934, he formed ''Pegasus'', a publisher of many left-wing writers and intellectuals in the Netherlands, some for the first time. In 1935–1936, Goulooze formed the Dutch Information Service (DIS), an organisation that supplied information to the Soviet Union. Goulooze become the liaison between the organisation and the CPN. In 1937, he went to the Soviet Union, where he received intelligence training at the Marx–Engels–Lenin Institute in Moscow.
