''Da grande'' is the third compilation album and second greatest hits release by Italian singer Alexia released in 2005. The album spans all her Italian language singles from 2002 to 2005. Two new tracks were included on the album; " Da grande" and "Mai dire mai" with the former being released as a single and the latter as a radio promo single. Three album tracks are included; "Un cuore non hai", from her album '' Il cuore a modo mio'', "Quello che sento" and "Funky al cuore", from her album '' Gli occhi grandi della luna''. Alexia (Italian Singer)
Alexia (born Alessia Aquilani, 19 May 1967) is an Italian singer. Before recording in Italian in the 2000s, she made records in English in the 1990s. Many of those were international hits. Before her solo career, she was the vocalist of Ice MC. In her career, she has sold over 6 million records with ten top 10 singles, four of which were number-ones with numerous international sales certifications. She has performed at the Festivalbar nine times, and four times at the Sanremo Music Festival in which she has earned, besides several music critic awards, three second-placings, and one first-placing in 2003. "Per dire di no" is the first single from Alexia's sixth studio album '' Il cuore a modo mio'' and was released on CD in March 2003 (Sony Code 673593). The CD contained two tracks, with the second track being the 'reprise' version which would be included as a bonus track on the album. "Non lasciarmi mai" is the second single release from the fifth studio album of Italian singer Alexia. The song is about Alexia being pleased to have her lover and the direction her life is going, comparing him as the sun in her life and her fear of being left alone. The title translates as 'Not to leave me ever'. The track contains lyrics in both English and Italian. An English version featured on the international release of the album Alexia entitled "Don't Leave Me This Way". The theme of the song differs slightly in that although Alexia likes some of what her lover does, yet he doesn't completely leave her satisfied and that she doesn't want to be left in her current way of being moderately satisfied. "Come tu mi vuoi" is the first single release from the seventh studio album of Italian singer Alexia, ''Gli occhi grandi della luna'', released on 1 June 2004. The track was originally written in English (and was the lead track on the promotional CD), though the Italian version was released as the lead track on the physical CD release.
