Da Vinci's City Hall
''Da Vinci's City Hall'' is a Canadian dramatic television series, which premiered on CBC Television on 25 October 2005 and ended on 28 February 2006. It is a spin-off of the long-running Canadian series ''Da Vinci's Inquest''. The creator, writer and executive producer of the series was Chris Haddock. Overview Nicholas Campbell reprises his role as Dominic Da Vinci, a former coroner entering municipal politics as the mayor of Vancouver, British Columbia. Da Vinci is based on the real-life experiences of Larry Campbell, the former chief coroner of Vancouver who was elected that city's mayor in 2002. With the series regular Ian Tracey (playing Mick Leary) inheriting the coroner's job, the show toggles back and forth between crime scenes and politics. Chris Haddock
Chris Haddock is a Canadian screenwriter, producer and director best known as the creator and showrunner of the CBC Television series ''Da Vinci's Inquest'', ''Da Vinci's City Hall'', ''Intelligence'' and ''The Romeo Section''. He has won 14 Gemini Awards as a writer, producer and/or director and received another 15 nominations - most of them for ''Da Vinci's Inquest''. Career Haddock began as a street performer, but he later focused his creative energies into screenwriting for television. One of his earliest efforts in writing was for the popular series, ''MacGyver'', where he also served as the Story Editor and Executive Story Editor. He founded Haddock Entertainment in 1997. Fred Keating is a Canadian-American actor based in Greater Vancouver, Canada. History Fred Keating was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1949 and raised in Detroit, Michigan.
