D76 Road
D76 is a state road in Croatia that connects Makarska Riviera to Imotski and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, the road has junctions to major roads, namely A1 motorway in Zagvozd interchange, connecting to Split and Zagreb, and D62 state road, also in Zagvozd, which in turn connects to Šestanovac to the west and to Vrgorac to the east. The road is long. The road, as well as all other state roads in Croatia, is managed and maintained by Hrvatske ceste, a state-owned company. Cista Provo
A cista is a box or basket used by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Etruscans and Romans for various practical and mystical purposes. Purpose and usage The ''cista'' or ''cistella'' was at first thought be a wicker basket used for holding fruits and vegetables and for general agricultural purposes. Although these baskets were sometimes square, they were more often cylindrical in shape. Over time, ''cista'' came to mean a smaller box or casket employed for a variety of purposes. This distinguished it from the larger ''area'' or chest; on rare occasions, it may have been used in referring to a ''capsa'', or book-box. Grubine
Grubine is a small settlement in the municipality of Podbablje, near the town of Imotski, Split-Dalmatia, Croatia. Geography Grubine is 5 km away from the town of Imotski. It lies by the intersection of the two major state roads. ( D60 Split - Lovreć - Imotski and D76 Baška Voda - Sveti Ilija Tunnel - Zagvozd - Grubine) History The town is first mentioned in 1931. Nearby hamlets Mračaj, Matkovići, Žužuli, Vukovići, Karini and Jonjići have survived since 1718, after the Venetians liberated Imotski from Turkish occupation and returned it to Austrian Dalmatia. A population census was taken and the hamlet's names were added on to maps. At the time, the hamlets were assigned to the parish of St. Luke – Podbablje. A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons.
