Giuseppe "Peppino" D'Agostino is an Italian-American guitarist. His first two albums, ''Bluerba'' and ''Silk and Steel'' were recorded in Italy. D'Agostino moved to America in 1985. Starting out by performing in the streets and on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, he graduated to playing in restaurants then clubs, and finally, concert halls and festivals after a fellow musician introduced D’Agostino to a booking agent. He made his American recording debut in 1987 with Acoustic Spirit on Shanachie Records. Career D'Agostino was born in 1956. D’Agostino emerged on the acoustic guitar scene in the late 1980s. Enrico Fermi (; 29 September 1901 – 28 November 1954) was an Italian (later naturalized American) physicist and the creator of the world's first nuclear reactor, the Chicago Pile-1. Oscar D'Agostino (29 August 1901 – 16 March 1975) was an Italian chemist and one of the so-called ''Via Panisperna boys'', the group of young scientists led by Enrico Fermi: all of them were physicists, except for D'Agostino, who was a chemist. In 1934 he contributed to Fermi's experiment (that gave Fermi the possibility to win the Nobel Prize in 1938) to showing the properties of slow neutrons. Abbey Cooper (née D'Agostino; born May 25, 1992) is an American middle- and long-distance runner. Cooper is the most decorated Ivy League athlete in track and field and cross country running. She is the first Dartmouth female distance runner to win an NCAA title. She won a total of seven NCAA titles (1 – cross country; 4 – indoor track; 2 – outdoor track) in her career.
