Daniel James Goodwin is an American record producer, recording engineer, mixing engineer, and musician based in Hudson Valley, New York. Goodwin is known for his experimental and unconventional approach to recording. He is the owner of The Isokon, a recording studio in Woodstock, New York. The Hudson Valley (also known as the Hudson River Valley) comprises the valley of the Hudson River and its adjacent communities in the U.S. state of New York. The region stretches from the Capital District including Albany and Troy south to Yonkers in Westchester County, bordering New York City. Devo (, originally ) is an American rock band from Akron, Ohio, formed in 1973. Their classic line-up consisted of two sets of brothers, the Mothersbaughs (Mark and Bob) and the Casales (Gerald and Bob), along with Alan Myers. ''Stir the Blood'' is the third studio album by New York–based rock band The Bravery. The album was released on December 1, 2009, and features the singles "Slow Poison" and "I Am Your Skin". Production To record the album, the band had to leave New York behind and head upstate and into the woods. The group set up shop for ''Stir the Blood'' at Dreamland Recording: a recording facility in an old 1800s church which, years ago, housed the Pixies for an unnamed project and The B-52's as they recorded "Love Shack". The Bravery
The Bravery is an American rock band formed in New York City in 2003. The band consists of lead vocalist Sam Endicott, guitarist Michael Zakarin, keyboardist John Conway, bassist Mike Hindert and drummer Anthony Burulcich. They are best known for their 2005 top 10 UK single "An Honest Mistake" and their certified gold 2008 single "Believe". Goose (American Band)
Goose is an American jam band from Norwalk, Connecticut. The band consists of Peter Anspach, Jeff Arevalo, Ben Atkind, Rick Mitarotonda, and Trevor Weeks. Tim Berne (born October 16, 1954) is an American avant-garde jazz saxophonist and record label owner. His primary instruments are the alto and baritone saxophones. Biography Berne was born in Syracuse, New York, United States. He has said that he had no interest in playing an instrument until he attended Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Hearing the album ''Dogon A.D.'' (1972) by Julius Hemphill turned his attention toward jazz. He was a fan of rhythm and blues, and it seemed to him that Hemphill was playing jazz with the soulfulness of R&B. In 1974, he went to New York to find Hemphill, who gave him saxophone lessons and advice on how to manage his career. Berne started the record label Empire in 1979.
