D. D. Crabb
Delmore Dean Crabb was a politician from Arizona who served in the Arizona state senate during the 2nd Arizona State Legislature. In addition to his brief political career, Crabb was a cattle rancher in both Arizona and California. Life Crabb was born in 1874 in Iola, Kansas, the son of Joseph D. and Sylvia A. Crabb. He had 3 brothers: Alford ("A. D."), Elbert (also known as "Jack" or "E. H"), and S. V. Crabb; and 2 sisters: Mattie and LaVerne. Crabb moved with his family from Kansas to California in 1887, before moving to Arizona in 1881, where the settled in the Salt River Valley, on a ranch near Phoenix, Arizona on Christy Road. Crabb grew up on that ranch before graduating from North Phoenix High School, after which he managed the Alkire Cattle Ranch for several years, before starting his own ranch. One of his brothers, E. Navajo County is in the northern part of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2020 census, its population was 106,717. The county seat is Holbrook. San Diego Yacht Club is a yacht club located in San Diego Bay. It is located in Point Loma across from a spit of land known as Shelter Island. Facilities The San Diego Yacht Club facility has a main dining room and outdoor deck seating, a bar, banquet space, a sailing center, a library, a swimming pool, saunas, hot tub, gym, tennis courts, and a pavilion equipped with a barbecue. There are wet and dry slips for member use for a monthly fee. The wet slips can accommodate boats up to 90 feet in length, and the dry slips are for smaller boats up to 23 feet in length. SDYC leases an outstation on Catalina Island from the Catalina Island Conservancy. The outstation is named Buffalo Beach and is located at the White's landing, Long Point area. Escondido is a city in San Diego County, California, United States. Located in the North County region, it was incorporated in 1888, and is one of the oldest cities in San Diego County. It has a population of 151,038 as of the 2020 census. Etymology "Escondido" is a Spanish word meaning "hidden". Pinedale, Arizona
Pinedale is an unincorporated community in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. The population was 487 at the 2010 census. The elevation is approximately and it is part of the Mogollon Rim mountain range. Pinedale was first known as Mortensen, after Niels Petersen who established a Mormon settlement there in 1879. It was also known as Percheron, for the breed of stallions which Mortensen had brought with him. By 1888, however, the settlement was called Pinedale. Pre-history About 220 million years ago this area was once a swamp land – part of a great inland sea. Prescott ( ) is a city in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. According to the 2020 Census, the city's population was 45,827. The city is the county seat of Yavapai County. In 1864, Prescott was designated as the capital of the Arizona Territory, replacing the temporary capital of Fort Whipple. The Territorial Capital was moved to Tucson in 1867. It was founded in 1909 and ceased publication as a separate title in 1995. Jerome, Arizona
Jerome is a town in the Black Hills of Yavapai County in the U.S. state of Arizona. Founded in the late 19th century on Cleopatra Hill overlooking the Verde Valley, Jerome is located more than above sea level. It is about north of Phoenix along State Route 89A between Sedona and Prescott. Supported in its heyday by rich copper mines, it was home to more than 10,000 people in the 1920s.
