D.C. Cab
''D.C. Cab'' (also known as ''Street Fleet'') is a 1983 American comedy film written and directed by Joel Schumacher, based on a story by Topper Carew and Schumacher, and starring Max Gail, Adam Baldwin, Mr. T, Charlie Barnett, Gary Busey, Marsha Warfield, and Whitman Mayo. Plot Naive but good natured young man Albert Hockenberry (Baldwin) arrives in Washington, D.C., with plans to work for his late father's army buddy Harold (Gail), owner of the run-down District of Columbia Cab company. Aware of the sorry state of his business and from the growing competition from the popular Emerald Cab Company, Harold wants to clean it up but doesn't have the financial means to do so. Complicating matters is the motley group of cab drivers that he has working for him. Drew Struzan (; born March 18, 1947) is an American artist, illustrator and cover designer. David Paul (March 8, 1957 – March 6, 2020) was an American actor. He and his twin brother Peter Paul (actor), Peter were born in Hartford, Connecticut. The death of David was confirmed by his twin brother Peter. David died just two days before his 63rd birthday. Acting credits Paul and his twin brother Peter Paul (actor), Peter Paul were together known as "The Barbarian Brothers". They appeared in an episode of ''Knight Rider (1982 TV series), Knight Rider'' entitled "Knight of the Drones". David and Peter had a small part in the Oliver Stone movie ''Natural Born Killers'' in which they are in a bodybuilding public gym milieu being interviewed by Robert Downey Jr.'s character, but the scene ended up on the cutting room floor. DeWayne Jessie (a.k.a. "Otis Day"; born September 21, 1951) is an American character actor best known for his portrayal of Otis Day in ''National Lampoon's Animal House''. In the movie, the songs "Shama Lama Ding Dong" and " Shout" were sung by Lloyd G. Williams and lip-synched by Jessie. In the 1980s, Jessie purchased the rights to the band name Otis Day and The Knights from Universal Studios and formed a real-life version of the band with some members of his family and toured the country for years afterward, with Jessie assuming the identity of Otis Day. Whitman Blount Mayo Jr. (November 15, 1930 – May 22, 2001) was an American actor, best known for his role as Grady Wilson on the 1970s television sitcom ''Sanford and Son''. Marsha Francine Warfield (born March 5, 1954) is an American actress and comedian. She grew up on Chicago's South Side, graduating from Calumet High School.
