César Cabral
César Augusto Cabral Dipre (born February 11, 1989) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the London Majors of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL). He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles. Career Minor League Baseball Cabral was originally signed for the Boston Red Sox by scout Luis Scheker, as an international amateur free agent and played in their minor league system through 2010. His professional career began in 2006, when he went 1–4 with a 4.54 ERA in 11 games (10 starts) with the DSL Red Sox. In 2007, again with the DSL Red Sox, Cabral went 5–4 with a 1.76 ERA in 14 starts. The Florida Complex League Red Sox are a professional baseball team competing in the rookie-level Florida Complex League (FCL) of Minor League Baseball. The team is owned and operated by the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). Prior to 2021, the team was known as the Gulf Coast League Red Sox. The team is located in Fort Myers, Florida, and plays its home games at JetBlue Park in the Fenway South complex. Matthew Thomas Daley (born June 23, 1982) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Colorado Rockies and the New York Yankees. Designated for assignment (DFA) is a contractual term used in Major League Baseball (MLB). A player who is designated for assignment is immediately removed from the team's 40-man roster, after which the team must within seven days, return the player to the 40-man roster, place the player on waivers, trade the player, release the player, or outright the player from the 40-man roster into Minor League Baseball. Joseph Elliott Girardi (born October 14, 1964) is an American former professional baseball player and manager in Major League Baseball (MLB). Girardi played the catcher position for the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees, and St. Louis Cardinals during a big league playing career that spanned from 1989 to 2003. He won three World Series championships with the Yankees in the 1990s and served as the catcher for both Dwight Gooden's no-hitter and David Cone's perfect game. Joseph Henry West (born October 31, 1952), nicknamed "Cowboy Joe" or "Country Joe", is an American former Major League Baseball umpire. Born in Asheville, North Carolina, he grew up in Greenville and played football at East Carolina University (ECU) and Elon College. David Alan Robertson (born April 9, 1985), nicknamed D-Rob, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Portland Sea Dogs are a Minor League Baseball team based in Portland, Maine, playing in the Eastern League (1938–present), Eastern League. Established in 1994, the Sea Dogs are the Double-A (baseball), Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
