''Cássia Eller'' is an album by Brazilian singer Cássia Eller, released in 1994. History ''Cássia Eller'' was recorded in the personal studio of Guto Graça Mello, without the knowledge of PolyGram. This happened because the two previous Cássia albums (''Cássia Eller'' and '' O Marginal'') failed to reach commercial success, and Cássia was decided to resign of the label. The album received a big influence from Marisa Monte's album '' Verde, anil, amarelo, cor de rosa e carvão'', that Cássia heard as nursed her son, Chicão. In accord of the singer herself, ''Cássia Eller'' was her first job with a preproduction work. Initially, the claim was that the new disc had only rewrites, but some unpublished musics finished part of this (as "Malandragem" and "ECT"). Cássia Rejane Eller (Portuguese: /ˈkasjɐ ʁeˈʒɐni ˈɛleʁ/) (December 10, 1962 – December 29, 2001) was a Brazilian singer and musician. She came to prominence in the early 1990s and performed a mix of rock and MPB. Djavan Caetano Viana (; born 27 January 1949) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter. Early life and career Djavan was born in Maceió, Brazil to a white father of Dutch descent and a black mother. Arnaldo Antunes (, born Arnaldo Augusto Nora Antunes Filho, September 2, 1960) is a Brazilian musician, writer, and composer. He was a member of the rock band Titãs, which he co-founded in 1982 and left ten years later. After 1992, he embarked on a solo career. Herbert Lemos de Sousa Vianna (born May 4, 1961) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, guitarist and record producer mainly known for his work with rock band Os Paralamas do Sucesso. Biography Herbert was born in João Pessoa, Paraíba. His father was from the military and, because of that, he moved to Brasília when he was still a child. There he met band member Bi Ribeiro.
