San Marino
San Marino (, ), officially the Republic of San Marino ( it, Repubblica di San Marino; ), also known as the Most Serene Republic of San Marino ( it, Serenissima Repubblica di San Marino, links=no), is the fifth-smallest country in the world and a European microstate in Southern Europe enclaved by Italy. Domagnano
Domagnano is a municipality in San Marino. It has 3,565 inhabitants (May 2018) in an area of 6.62 km2. Geography It borders the San Marino municipalities Faetano, Borgo Maggiore, Serravalle and the Italian municipality Coriano. History Domagnano, previously known as Montelupo (mountain of wolves) after its coat of arms, was already colonized by Roman times and was first mentioned in c. 1300. It is located on Monte Titano and you can see the Adriatic Sea from here. The so-called Domagnano Treasure was found in the castle here in the late nineteenth century. Torraccia is a small village (''curazia'') located in San Marino. It belongs to the municipality ('' castello'') of Domagnano. Geography Torraccia is situated in the east of Domagnano, close to the borders with the Italian municipality of Coriano, in the Province of Rimini. It is principally crossed by two roads named ''Strada di Montelupo'' and ''Strada di Monte Olivo''. This one links the village to Domagnano, Fiorina and Serravalle.
