Czech Game of the Year Awards ( cs, Česká hra roku) are annual awards that recognize accomplishments in video game development in the Czech Republic. The awards began as part of Gameday Festival in 2010, but became independent from the festival in 2017. The awards are organised by the České Hry association. 2010 The awards for the first year were presented on 7 May 2011. Awards were given in three categories. ''Mafia II'' was awarded as the best Czech game in Czech. The jury also expressed recognition to Centauri Production for making their games in Czech. ''Hero of Many'' is an independent video game developed by Trickster Arts. It is an Action-adventure game for Android, iOS, Ouya and Windows. The Windows version was released on Steam on 15 September 2014. The game contains no dialogue and uses black silhouette graphics similar to ''Limbo''. Trickster Arts is an indie game development team based in the Czech Republic. It consists of former 2K Czech employees. History The studio was founded in Fall 2012 when Matouš Ježek left 2K Czech and started to work on his own game. The project was titled ''Hero''. Ježek also contacted some of his friends and former colleagues to join his team. It included Ladislav Týč and Matúš Široký. They also released an iOS game ''Date Me If You Can''.
