Czarni Pruszcz Gdański is a Polish football team from Pruszcz Gdański, Poland. History The club were founded in 1961. Throughout the club's history they have played in the lower regional divisions in Poland. The club have only had success in the Pomeranian leagues, with their only competition win coming in 2006 by winning the Pomeranian Voivodeship Polish Cup. For three seasons from 2005 until 2008, Czarni played in the IV liga for the only time in their history, with their highest finish being 8th in the 2005–06 season. For the 2006–07 season Czarni were included in the Polish Cup through which they qualified for after winning the Pomeranian Voivodeship Polish Cup. Pruszcz Gdański (; former pl, Pruszcz; german: Praust) is a town in Pomerania, northern Poland with 26,834 inhabitants (2010). Pruszcz Gdański is an industrial town neighbouring Gdańsk, part of the Tricity, Poland, Tricity urban agglomeration, agglomeration. The Obwodnica Trójmiejska, Tricity Bypass begins in Pruszcz Gdański. Pomeranian Voivodeship, Pomorskie Region, or Pomerania Province (Polish: ''Województwo pomorskie'' ; ( Kashubian: ''Pòmòrsczé wòjewództwò'' ), is a voivodeship, or province, in northwestern Poland. The provincial capital is Gdańsk. The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). The Cup is popular among lower-level teams, as it gives them a chance to play better known sides. Jagiellonia Białystok () is a Polish football club based in Białystok that plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top level of Polish football. The club was founded in 1920 by soldiers in the Reserve Battalion in Białystok. Jagiellonia play their home games at Stadion Miejski. The club won the Polish Cup and Super Cup in 2010 and qualified to play in the third round qualification of the UEFA Europa League. It was the club's first appearance in the European cup.
