Czarna Dziewczyna
Poland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Czarna dziewczyna" written by Łukasz Lazer, Michał Szymański and Ivan Komarenko. The song was performed by Ivan and Delfin. In December 2004, the Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) announced that the Polish entry for the 2005 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine would be selected through an internal selection. "Czarna dziewczyna" performed by Ivan and Delfin was announced as the Polish entry on 29 January 2005 during the TVP1 programme ''Stratosfera''. Poland competed in the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 25 May 2010. Performing as the closing entry during the show in position 25, "Czarna dziewczyna" was not announced among the top 10 entries of the first semi-final and therefore did not qualify to compete in the final. Agustin Egurrola (born 8 September 1968, in Warsaw) is a Polish professional dancer, choreographer, international judge of ballroom and modern dance competitions, and television personality. Biography Egurrola's mother was Polish while his father was Cuban. He is the multiple Polish Champion in Latin dance and South-American Show Dance. His dancing partner was Joanna Szokalska, with whom he gained twelve titles of Polish Champion. They also represented Poland in multiple World and European Championships. Since 2007 Egurrola has served as a judge on the Polish television series '' You Can Dance: Po prostu tańcz!''. Poland has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 24 times since its debut in . Although Poland did not become a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) until 1993, earlier contests had often been broadcast on Telewizja Polska (TVP), the Polish broadcaster. MTV Polska is the Polish-language version of the general entertainment channel MTV. It was launched on July 7, 2000, replacing local music channel Atomic TV.
