Cyw (Welsh language, Welsh for "Chick", ) is the name of a Welsh-language children's television block from S4C (Channel 4 Wales), which launched on 23 June 2008. Primarily aimed at children in the 3 to 6 age group, Cyw operates from Monday to Friday from 6am to 12pm, and includes programmes which have been previously broadcast by S4C in the ''Planed Plant Bach'' (Little Children's Planet) slot, such as "Bla Bla Blewog (Ha Ha Hairies) Sam Tân (Fireman Sam) Tomos a'i Ffrindiau (Thomas and Friends) and ''Bob y Bildar'' (''Bob the Builder'') as well as shows being transmitted for the first time in Welsh such as ''Dafydd a Bitw ac Owain a Henri'', ''Heini'', ''Y Brodyr Coala'' (''The Koala Brothers''), ''Y Teulu Mawr'' (''The Large Family''), ''Rapsgaliwn'', ''Dona Direidi'', ''Caio'' (''Caillou'') and ''Ben a Mali a'i byd bach o hud'' (''Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom''). Llan-ar-goll-en
''Llan-ar-goll-en'' is a Welsh live action/animated children's television show created by Siwan Jobbins for S4C, and produced by Twt Productions and Cwmni Da. The show follows the adventures of two detectives; human Prys ar Frys and Ceri the Dog-tective, who manage to solve many mysteries in the titular village. It ran for 2 series with 51 episodes (including a half-hour Christmas special) from 23 December 2013 to 14 March 2016. The show was filmed in Portmeirion, Wales, and notably features animated animal characters (such as one of the main characters, Ceri) interacting with a live action environment. The animation was done by Cloth Cat Animation using Flash animation. The title of the show is a pun on the Welsh town of Llangollen, and the Welsh term for lost, "ar goll". ''PAW Patrol'' is a Canadian computer-animated children's television series, children's television series created by Keith Chapman. It is produced by Spin Master, Spin Master Entertainment, with animation provided by Guru Studio. In Canada, the series is primarily broadcast on TVOKids, which first ran previews of the show in August 2013. The series premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States on August 12, 2013. ''Peppa Pig'' is a British preschool animated television series by Astley Baker Davies.
