The city is located on the western shore of the Río de la Plata, on South America's southeastern coast. Argentine People Of Swedish Descent
Argentines (mistakenly translated Argentineans in the past; in Spanish (masculine) or (feminine)) are people identified with the country of Argentina. This connection may be residential, legal, historical or cultural. For most Argentines, several (or all) of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their being ''Argentine''. Argentina is a multiethnic and multilingual society, home to people of various ethnic, religious, and national origins, with the majority of the population made up of Old World immigrants and their descendants. As a result, Argentines do not equate their nationality with ethnicity, but with citizenship and allegiance to Argentina. Aside from the indigenous population, nearly all Argentines or their ancestors immigrated within the past five centuries. Among countries in the world that have received the most immigrants in modern history, Argentina, with 6.6 million, ranks second to the United States (27 million), and ahead of other immigr ...

ASCAP
The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) () is an American not-for-profit performance-rights organization (PRO) that collectively licenses the public performance rights of its members' musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services (music stores). ASCAP collects licensing fees from users of music created by ASCAP members, then distributes them back to its members as royalties. In effect, the arrangement is the product of a compromise: when a song is played, the user does not have to pay the copyright holder directly, nor does the music creator have to bill a radio station for use of a song. In 2021, ASCAP collected over US$1.335 billion in revenue and distributed $1.254 billion in royalties to its members. ASCAP membership included over 850,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers, with over 16 million registered works. History ASCAP was founded by Victor Herbert, together with composers George Botsford, Silvio Hein, I ...

The Sacados
The Sacados is an Argentine musical group, active since the 1990s and consisting of Darío Moscatelli (born January 27, 1966) and Cynthia Nilson. History The Sacados was born as a project in Buenos Aires at the beginning of 1990. Their originality was the first step that would lead them to success. The appearance of "Ritmo de la Noche" was the definitive explosion. Obligatory theme in all records, permanently broadcast on the radio and even disputed by several TV programs as a musical curtain. The Sacados became the most popular group in Argentina that summer. Verano Del '98
''Verano del '98'' was an Argentine telenovela intended for teenagers, broadcast by Telefe from January 26, 1998 until November 24, 2000. Allegedly planned as way to cover a programming gap for the summer of 1998, it became such a hit that it ended lasting three consecutive seasons. After the series aired Telefe came under fire as it became apparent that ''Verano del '98'' was a thinly veiled copy of the popular American teen drama ''Dawson's Creek'', which also started airing around the same time. Gustavo Yankelevich, Telefe's chief artistic director, admitted having attended an early screening of ''Dawson's Creek'' in 1997 but thought Sony had lost interest in the project and decided to use it as inspiration when developing ''Verano del '98''. Sony and Telefe settled out of court. Series overview This series takes place in the fictional town of Costa Esperanza.
