Cynthia L. Bauerly
Cynthia L. Bauerly (born 1970) is an American civil servant who currently serves as the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Revenue. She was appointed commissioner in January 2015 after joining the department as deputy commissioner in the spring of 2014. Сareer Prior to joining Revenue, she served as Deputy Commissioner of Workforce Development at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). Prior to her state government service, she served in various federal roles, including being a member of the United States Federal Election Commission. She was nominated by President George W. Bush on May 6, 2008. Her appointment received the unanimous consent of the United States Senate on June 24, 2008. Florence-Marie Cooper (February 9, 1940 – January 15, 2010) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Early life and education Cooper was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and moved to San Francisco, California with her family in 1952. Cooper graduated from high school in 1958 and began working as a legal secretary. She attended night classes at City College of San Francisco for five years, but did not graduate from the school.
