Cycling At The 2008 Summer Paralympics – Women's Time Trial
The Women's time trial track cycling events at the 2008 Summer Paralympics took place on September 7–8 at the Laoshan Velodrome. Classification Cyclists are given a classification depending on the type and extent of their disability. The classification system allows cyclists to compete against others with a similar level of function. Cycling classes are: *B&VI 1–3: Blind and visually impaired cyclists *LC 1–4: Cyclists with a locomotor disability *CP 1–4: Cyclists with cerebral palsy B&VI 1–3 The women's 1 km time trial (B&VI 1–3) took place on September 7.13th Paralympic Games - JO - Stage 1 - September 7: Track racing - Day 1

Paula Tesoriero
Paula Margaret Tesoriero (born 29 August 1975 in Wellington) is a former New Zealand paralympics racing cyclist and senior public servant. Early life Tesoriero was born with amniotic band syndrome, which caused mobility issues. She got her first bicycle when she was five and used it as a way to "keep up with everyone." Her left leg was amputated below the knee when she was thirteen. Tesoriero uses an artificial left leg and is missing an ankle on her right leg. When she competes, she uses a carbon limb on her left leg. Tesoriero graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Arts in 1998, a Bachelor of Laws in 2000 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management in 2009. Greta Neimanas (born 4 May 1988) is an American Paralympic cyclist. Biography Neimanas was born in Evanston, Illinois. Her passion for cycling was born when she saw cycling track at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, Greece at the age of 16.
