Cyan
Cyan () is the color between green and blue on the visible spectrum of light. It is evoked by light with a predominant wavelength between 490 and 520 nm, between the wavelengths of green and blue. In the subtractive color system, or CMYK color model, which can be overlaid to produce all colors in paint and color printing, cyan is one of the primary colors, along with magenta and yellow. In the additive color system, or RGB color model, used to create all the colors on a computer or television display, cyan is made by mixing equal amounts of green and blue light. Cyan is the complement of red; it can be made by the removal of red from white. Mixing red light and cyan light at the right intensity will make white light. Colors in the cyan color range are teal, turquoise, electric blue, aquamarine, and others described as blue-green. Cyan (cat)
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujima Takuya. The individual chapters were serialized in ''Magazine Z'', and compiled into three ''tankōbon'' volumes released by Kodansha from February 2003 to March 2004. Set in Ikebukuro, Japan, the series revolves around the struggle of two stray cat groups. Cyan, a young newly abandoned cat, joins one of them, the Free Collars. Each cat has two appearances; to humans, they appear as normal cats, but to other cats, they appear as catboys and catgirls. Each cat has their own attack, and some carry weapons. While drawing the series, Fujima changed his art style from one used previously, though he was asked to use his original styling. He also noted that the series was different from his other works, and was unsure of how the audience would respond to it. Cyan (comic Strip Character)
''Nemi'' is a Norwegian comic strip, written and drawn by Lise Myhre. It made its first appearance in 1997 under the title ''Den svarte siden'' ("the Black Side" or "the Black Page"). At that time, it was a very dark cartoon concerning heavy metal subcultures. Over the years, Myhre has turned it brighter, though she still frequently publishes strips about serious issues, especially in the larger Saturday panels. The strip was renamed ''Nemi'' after its protagonist, a young goth woman. Myhre has also illustrated poems by Edgar Allan Poe and André Bjerke in the strip. Publication Newspapers In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the strip was, until 8 January 2016, printed daily in the ''Metro'' newspaper, after translation into English; background images, and magazines the characters are reading often remain clearly in Norwegian. Tor Cyan
''Tor Cyan'' is a '' 2000 AD'' comic-book title written by John Tomlinson. It is a continuation of ''Mercy Heights'', which introduced the title character Tor Cyan as a futuristic 'ambulance driver'. In ''Tor Cyan'', Tor Cyan is the pilot of a medical shuttle, who despite the obstacles of destiny is determined to dedicate his life to saving life. Connections between Tor Cyan and the Genetic Infantrymen, and between his story and the same fictional universe as Nu-Earth, are revealed gradually over the course of the series. Tor Cyan finds it impossible to fully transcend his roots, and he becomes compelled to return to Nu-Earth and find out the truth about his past. Eventually, he discovers that his blue skin pigmentation is the product of the same genetic engineering used to create GI Supersoldiers. Spawn (comics)
Spawn is a superhero/antihero appearing in a monthly comic book of the same name published by American company Image Comics, as well as in a number of films, television series, and video game adaptations set in the Image Universe.
