Cut Nyak Meutia
Tjoet Nja Meuthia (February 15, 1870 – October 24, 1910), also known as Tjut Meutia or Cut Meutia, was an Indonesian national heroine. Life Meutia was born in 1870 in Perlak, Aceh. When she grew into adulthood, she married Teuku Sam Searah. They divorced not long afterward. Against the Dutch Cut Nyak Meutia's new husband was Cut Muhammad or Teuku Cik Tunong. Differing from his brother, Cut Muhammad did not obey the Dutch because he didn't accept their colonization of Aceh. Cut Muhammad and his wife worked hand in hand with the Acehnese to fight against the Dutch. In 1899 Teuku Cik Tunong led a successful attack against the Dutch. In the beginning, the Dutch troops were at a loss as to what to do. In the following two years, however, Cik Tunong and his troops had not made any movements. Aceh Sultanate
The Sultanate of Aceh, officially the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam ( ace, Keurajeuën Acèh Darussalam; Jawoë: كاورجاون اچيه دارالسلام), was a sultanate centered in the modern-day Indonesian province of Aceh. Cut Meutia (train)
The ''Cut Meutia'' is a passenger train service currently operating in Aceh, Indonesia. It was opened in 2016 and currently serves five railway stations in North Aceh and Bireuën Regencies. It is the only operational train service in Aceh. History Railways had been operational in Aceh since the Dutch East Indies era, linking Banda Aceh to Langkat in North Sumatra. The line ceased operations in 1982, however, leaving Aceh without operational train services and existing stations and railways deteriorating. In 1996, an attempt to develop tracks between Langkat and Aceh's provincial border ceased due to funding difficulties after laying 2 kilometers of track. Another section measuring 5 kilometers were developed in 2000, but again development ceased due to lack of funds. Cut Nyak Dhien
Cut Nyak Dhien or Tjoet Nja' Dhien (1848 in Aceh Besar Regency, Lampadang – November 6, 1908 in Sumedang) was a leader of the Acehnese people, Acehnese guerrilla forces during the Aceh War. Following the death of her husband Teuku Umar, she led guerrilla actions against the Dutch for 25 years. She was wikt:posthumous, posthumously awarded the title of List of National Heroes of Indonesia, National Hero of Indonesia on 2 May 1964 by the Indonesian government. ''Raden Adjeng'' Kartini (21 April 1879 – 17 September 1904), also known as '' Raden Ayu'' Kartini, was a prominent Indonesian activist who advocated for women's rights and female education.
