''Custe o Que Custar'' (In English, Whatever it Takes, represented by the acronym CQC) was a program that brought together journalism and humor on Brazilian television, produced by Eyeworks and broadcast weekly by Rede Bandeirantes from 2008 to 2015. In total, it had eight seasons and 339 episodes. The format is based on the original Argentinean Caiga quien caiga, created by Mario Pergolini and Diego Guebel, in 1995. The attraction was awarded in several categories with the main awards on Brazilian television, such as the APCA, Press Trophy and the Brasil Quality Art Award . Marcelo Tas acted as co-director in the implementation of the Brazilian version of "Caiga Quien Caiga" and was host from 2008 to 2014. In the last year of the program, the host was Dan Stulbach, and has Marco Luque and Rafael Cortez on his team. Mario Pergolini
Mario Daniel Pergolini (born July 3, 1964, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine journalist, media producer and businessman, best known as the former main host of the television show ''Caiga Quien Caiga'' (''CQC'') broadcast on Argentina's Telefe. He started working at the Rock & Pop radio of Buenos Aires. He moved to TV as a secondary figure at Pepe Eliaschev's ''Cable a tierra'' and then Juan Alberto Badía's ''Badía y Compañía''. In 1989 he hosted ''Rock and pop TV'' together with other radio figures. Probably his first successful TV shows were the teenager-rebel program ''La TV ataca'' (1991–1993) and ''Hacelo por mí'' (1992), but it was CQC (first aired in 1995) the most successful of them all. Rede Bandeirantes (, ''Bandeirantes Network''), or simply known as Band (), is a Brazilian free-to-air television network. It began broadcasting on May 13, 1967 on VHF channel 13 in São Paulo. Its founder was businessman João Saad with the help of his father-in-law and former São Paulo governor Adhemar de Barros. In terms of audience and revenue, it is currently the fourth largest Brazilian television network. It broadcasts throughout Brazil through its owned-and-operated stations and affiliates.
