Curacaví
Curacaví () is a city and commune in the Melipilla Province of central Chile's Santiago Metropolitan Region. Its climate is temperate Mediterranean with a long dry season, experiencing high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter. Curacaví is located on the Ruta 68 between the coastal conurbation of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso and Santiago which has proved a popular home for expats working in Santiago. Chile Route 68 (Ruta 68) is a highway in central Chile. It runs from Santiago to Valparaíso. Route description It begins at the western terminus of Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins. In its first kilometers the highway is straight and has three lanes in each direction. Shortly after its junction with Vespucio Norte Express, Route 68 narrows to two lanes in each direction. After this, the highway meets Costanera Norte and crosses the Mapocho River. After some kilometers, Route 68 passes through the tunnels Lo Prado I and Lo Prado II, with lengths of and respectively, which are built through the Chilean Coastal Range. Lampa, Chile
Lampa is a Chilean commune and city in the Chacabuco province, Santiago Metropolitan Region. Lampa is situated near the Chicauma mountain range, part of which was added to the La Campana National Park. Lampa (in Quechua: Lampa, ‘the miner’s shovel’) is a community located in the rural zone northwest of Santiago, Chile. Talagante () is a commune and the capital city of the province of the same name in the Santiago Metropolitan Region of central Chile.
