Cundi (footballer)
Secundino Suárez Vázquez (born 13 April 1955), known as Cundi, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a left-back. His professional career was intimately connected with Sporting de Gijón, which he represented for 15 years. Club career Born in Sotrondio, Asturias, Cundi spent his professional career almost entirely with local powerhouse Sporting de Gijón, save for a one-year loan spell with UD Poblense due to compulsory military service. From the age of 20 onwards he was an undisputed starter for the La Liga club, appearing in nearly 400 competitive games during his 15-year spell. In the 1986–87 season, Cundi played 41 matches (3,549 minutes) for an eventual fourth-place finish. He did not receive one single red card during his career. International career Cundi earned nine caps for the Spain national team in two and a half years, and was selected for UEFA Euro 1980. San Martín Del Rey Aurelio
San Martín del Rey Aurelio ( Asturian: Samartín del Rei Aurelio) is a municipality of the Autonomous Community of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain. There are three main towns in the municipality: Sotrondio, El Entrego, and Blimea, and many villages, such as Santa Bárbara and La Hueria. It is situated in the central part of Asturias, just below the Sierra de San Mamés, part of the Cantabrian Mountains. The Nalón River, the longest river in Asturias, crosses the municipality. The Redes Natural Park is located nearby. Historically a mining location, nowadays it is in a re-industrial process with the emigration of many young people (about 30% of under 30). The 1980 UEFA European Football Championship finals tournament was held in Italy. This was the sixth UEFA European Championship, which is held every four years and endorsed by UEFA. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. Rubén Suárez Estrada (; born 19 February 1979) is a Spanish former Association football, footballer. Mainly an Midfielder#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder, he could also play as a Forward (association football)#Second striker, second striker. He appeared in 283 Segunda División matches over 13 seasons, totalling 49 goals for Sporting de Gijón, Elche CF, Elche, Levante UD, Levante and UD Almería, Almería.
