Cui Xiuwen
Cui Xiuwen (; 1967 – 1 August 2018) was a Chinese artist who made oil paintings, as well as video and photo works. Cui was a well-known contemporary artist in China. Her works have been collected by museums such as Tate Modern and the Brooklyn Museum. Life and work Cui Xiuwen was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. She attended the Fine Arts School of Northeast Normal University and graduated in 1990. She then went on to study at China's Central Academy of Fine Arts and received her Master's of Fine Arts in 1996. At the time of her death in 2018 she lived and worked in Beijing, China. She exhibited her work at Tate Modern, Florence Museum, Today Art Museum (Beijing), Fabien Fryns Fine Art, Eli Klein Fine Art Gallery (New York), Blindspot Gallery (Hong Kong), and Art Stage Singapore. Cui (), alternatively spelled Tsui or Tsway, is one of the 80 most common surnames in China, with around 0.28% of the Chinese population having the surname (around 3.4 million in 2002). National Taiwan Museum Of Fine Arts
The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA; ) is a museum in West District, Taichung, Taiwan. NTMoFA was established in 1988 and is the first and the only national-grade fine arts museum in Taiwan. The major collections are works by Taiwanese artists, covering modern and contemporary Taiwanese arts. The museum covers 102,000 square meters, including the Public Outdoor Sculpture park, making it one of the largest museums in Asia. Julika Rudelius (born 1968) is an internationally exhibiting German-born video and performance artist who lives and works in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and New York. Rudelius' photographic and video work examines complex notions of emotional dependency, social power, abuse, identity, and cultural hegemony. Biography Rudelius was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1968.
