''Crystyle'' is the fifth Korean extended play (seventh overall) recorded by South Korean girl group CLC. It was released on January 17, 2017, by Cube Entertainment and distributed by CJ E&M. "Hobgoblin" was released as the lead single. To promote the EP, the group performed on several South Korean music programs, including ''Music Bank'' and ''Inkigayo''. A music video for the title track, was also released on January 17. The EP was a peaking at number 10 on Gaon Album Chart and at number 6 on US World Albums. The album has sold 5,769 physical copies as of February 2017. Background and release On December 27, 2016, CLC confirmed that they would be releasing a new album in January, with a different concept from the group's existing image. It was also stated that their new album aimed to show a more charismatic, hip-hop and chic image. CLC (band)
CLC (, an acronym for CrystaL Clear) was a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment. The group's final lineup was composed of Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Yeeun and Eunbin. Members Elkie and Sorn departed in 2021. Their debut EP ''First Love'' was released on March 19, 2015, with five group members: Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn and Yeeun. The remaining two members, Elkie and Eunbin, were added to the group with the release of their third EP, '' Refresh'', on February 29, 2016, though Eunbin did not participate in official promotions until the release of their fourth EP, '' Nu.Clear,'' in May 2016. ''Chamisma'' is the second and final Japanese extended play (sixth overall) by the South Korean girl group CLC. It was released on July 27, 2016 by Cube Entertainment (Japan). "Chamisma" was released as the lead single. Background and release On June 16, Cube Entertainment announced that CLC will be returning to Japan to release their 2nd Japanese mini-album, "Charmisma". The word "Charmisma" is a combination of the words "Charming" and "Smile". It is also the group's first original Japanese track, which shows the lovely charms of the 7 members of the group, including Kwon Eunbin who will be joining them in Japanese promotions for the first time. ''Free'sm'' is the sixth Korean extended play (eighth overall) by South Korean girl group CLC. It was released on August 3, 2017, by Cube Entertainment and distributed by CJ E&M Music. The EP consists of six songs. "Where are You?" was released as the title track and it was promoted for their first week of promotions followed by "Summer Kiss" on several South Korean music programs, including ''Music Bank'' and ''Inkigayo''. She was best known as the main rapper of the South Korean girl group, CLC (group), CLC. She was the longest-running host of SBS MTV's The Show (South Korean TV series), ''The Show'', from May 2018 to November 2019, together with Lee Je-no, Lee Jeno.
