''Crown Shyness'' is the second studio album by British punk rock band Trash Boat, released on 20 July 2018 by Hopeless Records. It was produced by Andrew Wade at The Audio Compound in Orlando. Background ''Crown Shyness'' was recorded at The Audio Compound in Orlando, Florida with producer Andrew Wade. He mixed the album, before it was mastered by Alan Douches. Release Trash Boat announced their second studio album, ''Crown Shyness'', on 14 May 2018 alongside the lead single "Shade". Their second single "Inside Out" was released on 20 June. The band released their third single "Old Soul" on 19 July The album was released on 20 July, debuting at No. 2 on ''Billboard's'' Heatseekers Albums Chart. Critical reception The album received largely positive reviews. Trash Boat
Trash Boat is a British punk rock band formed in St Albans in 2014. The group consists of Tobi Duncan (lead vocals), Dann Bostock (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Ryan Hyslop (lead guitar), James Grayson (bass, backing vocals), and Oakley Moffatt (drums). The group has released two EPs and three studio albums. ''Look Alive'' was released independently in 2014, while ''Brainwork'' was released after signing with Hopeless Records in 2015. The band's debut album, ''Nothing I Write You Can Change What You've Been Through'', was released on 17 June 2016; their second, ''Crown Shyness'', was released on 20 July 2018; and the band's latest album ''Don't You Feel Amazing?'' was released on 13 August 2021. Melodic Hardcore
Melodic hardcore is a broadly defined subgenre of hardcore punk with a strong emphasis on melody in its guitar work. It generally incorporates fast rhythms, melodic and often distorted guitar riffs, and vocal styles tending towards shouting and screaming. Nevertheless, the genre has been very diverse, with different bands showcasing very different styles. Many pioneering melodic hardcore bands (such as Bad Religion and Descendents), have proven influential across the spectrum of punk rock, as well as rock music more generally. The term "melodic punk" is often used to describe both melodic hardcore and skate punk bands. Hopeless Records
Hopeless Records is an American independent record label in Van Nuys, California. History Hopeless Records was founded in 1993 by Louis Posen. The label's artists are generally considered to fall under the genres of punk rock, pop punk, post-hardcore, and alternative rock, but some also include elements of heavy metal. Some of their best-known artists include All Time Low, Sum 41, Neck Deep, Avenged Sevenfold, Thrice, Yellowcard, Anarbor, Taking Back Sunday, Silverstein, We Are the In Crowd, Bayside, the Used, the Wonder Years, the Human Abstract and Enter Shikari. Andrew Wade
Andrew Robert Wade (born August 4, 1984) is an American recording engineer and music producer. Early years and A Wish for Marilynne (2002–2006) In August 2002, Wade started playing guitar and singing lead vocals in Christian rock/emo band A Wish for Marilynne. By September 2003, the band had written seven songs, three of which made it on to a demo tape, that was recorded four months prior.Robbins 2003, p. 74 In an interview with the ''Ocala Star-Banner'' the band said that once they had ten songs they were going to start recording, and Wade said "it's (going to) be a lot better than the demo." By this point, the group had performed a total of twelve shows. The band started recording their album, ''Poetic Chaos'', at Wade's The Wade Studio on May 10, 2004, with a projected release date of June. It generally provides readers with band interviews, photos, and relevant news. It was founded in 1985 by Mike Shea in Cleveland, OH. The company is now looked after by MDDN. Beginnings The first issue of ''Alternative Press'' was distributed at concerts in Cleveland, Ohio beginning in June 1985 by ''APs founder, Mike Shea to advocate bands playing underground music. The name for the magazine, ''Alternative Press'', was not a reference to the alternative rock genre, but referred to the fanzine being an alternative to the local press. Top Heatseekers are "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The Heatseekers Albums and the Heatseekers Songs charts were introduced by ''Billboard'' in 1991 with the purpose of highlighting the sales by new and developing musical recording artists. Albums and songs appearing on Top Heatseekers may also concurrently appear on the ''Billboard'' 200 or ''Billboard'' Hot 100.
