Crossett, Arkansas
Crossett is the largest city in Ashley County, Arkansas, United States, with a population of 5,507, according to 2010 Census Bureau estimates. Combined with North Crossett and West Crossett, the population is 10,752. Crossett was incorporated in 1903. There are four properties on Main Street in Crossett listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as the Crossett Experimental Forest, located south. Barry Layne Switzer (born October 5, 1937) is a former American football coach and player. He served for 16 years as head football coach at the University of Oklahoma and four years as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). Rylan Robert Reed (born November 18, 1981 in Dallas, TX) is a former American football and baseball player. He played minor league baseball as a pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization from 2001 to 2005. After undergoing treatment for cancer, Reed enrolled at Texas Tech University and played college football from 2005 to 2008. He was selected as a first-team All-American offensive tackle in 2008. Bryant "Bry" Lawrence Nelson (born January 27, 1974) is a former second baseman and outfielder who is currently a free agent. He played during one season for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).
