Crooked Creek is a tributary of the Allegheny River in both Armstrong and Indiana counties in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Several covered bridges span the stream and its tributaries in Indiana County. The Thomas Covered Bridge crosses Crooked Creek in Armstrong Township. ''Note:'' This includes The Harmon's Covered Bridge crosses the South Branch Plum Creek and the Trusal Covered Bridge crosses Plum Creek, tributaries of Crooked Creek, in Washington Township. Crooked Creek Lake Recreation Area
Crooked Creek Lake Recreation Area is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers administered site surrounding Crooked Creek Lake in Armstrong County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The reservoir was created by the construction of the Crooked Creek Dam, authorized by the Flood Control Acts of 1936 and 1938. This project is intended to control flooding along the Allegheny River basin. The area was previously known as Crooked Creek State Park. Manor Township is a township in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,190 at the 2020 census, a decrease from 4,227 at the 2010 census. Geography Manor Township is located in central Armstrong County. It is bordered to the west by the Allegheny River and by the boroughs of Ford Cliff, Ford City, and Manorville. The borough of Kittanning borders the short northwest edge of the township. Crooked Creek forms the southern border of the township, and Cowanshannock Creek meanders through a small northeast section of the township. Ross Island is within the township in the Allegheny River.
