Croczilla
''Croczilla'' (also known as ''Million Dollar Crocodile'' or ''The Crocodile'') is a 2012 Chinese monster movie directed by Lin Lisheng. The film stars Barbie Shu, Guo Tao, Lam Suet and is about a group of people seeking a crocodile that has swallowed a million yuan. The film was released on June 8, 2012 and was promoted in some media as China's first monster movie. Plot The film tells the story of an eight meter long crocodile on the rampage in Hangzhou. Xiao befriends Amao, a 36-foot crocodile, who lives on his father's crocodile sanctuary. Soon his father is forced to sell the crocodiles to a gangster who plans to use them for high priced meals. The story begins as the crocodile is released, swallows a fortune won by a local woman who forces the police to hunt it, and begins to terrorize the local town. Barbie Hsu (; born 6 October 1976) is a Taiwanese actress, singer, and television host. She is best known for her leading role in the television series ''Meteor Garden'' (2001). Life and career Hsu was born in Taipei, Taiwan on 6 October 1976. She was the second of three sisters, with the eldest being Hsu Si-hsien, and the youngest sister being Dee Hsu. From 1994 to 2001, she was a member of the pop duo ASOS (originally called SOS for "Sisters of Shu", the name was changed to ASOS for legal reasons) with her youngest sister Dee Hsu. Lam Suet
Lam Suet (; born 1964), or Lin Xue, is a Hong Kong film actor. Life and career Lam was born in Tianjin, and came to Hong Kong as a youth in 1979 to receive inheritance money left by his grandfather. Soon after, all the money had been squandered and Lam had to work various odd jobs to make a living. In the mid-eighties he got employment on movie sets through the help of friends. He has done different roles, from lighting and props to stage manager and set and script supervisor. Lam gradually developed an interest in acting and by his own account, pestered various directors until they relented and gave him tiny roles. There are two pivotal persons in Lam's acting career. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang.
