Cristóbal Salvó
Cristóbal Salvó Saura, also known as Salvó I (1895 - 17 August 1927), was a Spanish association football, footballer who played as a midfielder for FC Espanya de Barcelona, FC Espanya and RCD Espanyol. He was one of the most prominent Catalan footballers of the 1910s, being considered the best midfielder#half-winger, half-winger of his time. His brother Pantaleón Salvó, Pantaleón also played for FC Espanya. Club career Born in Catalonia, he began his career at his hometown club FC Espanya de Barcelona, FC Espanya in the late-1900s, playing with them for nearly a decade. The Pyrenees Cup (), officially Challenge International du Sud de la France, was an international football competition contested by Spanish and French clubs based in the territories of Pyrénées (Catalonia, the Basque Country, Languedoc, Midi-Pyrénées and Aquitaine). There have been five tournaments for the Pyrenees Cup which were held between 1910 and 1914 with the final of the championship being held in the region's capital, Toulouse. However, the last two finals were held in Barcelona. The competition was played for 5 years, from 1910 to 1914, before disappearing due to the first World War. The tournament stopped due to the beginning of World War I in 1914. 1914 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1914 was the 14th staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. The Royal Spanish Football Federation took complete control of the cup tournament and decided that the clubs of the existing regional championship would qualify for the national cup championship; no free entry would be permitted anymore. Apart from some exception, the elimination rounds were played in two matches (home and away) from this season onwards. The competition started on 29 March 1914, and concluded on 10 May 1914, with the Final, held at the Estadio de Costorbe in Irun, in which Athletic Bilbao lifted the trophy for the 5th time ever with a 2–1 victory over España de Barcelona with Severino Zuazo netting both goals for Bilbao. Pere Molins Pascual (15 February 1889 – 13 January 1955) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Espanyol and FC Barcelona. Club career Born in Almacelles in Lleida, he moved to Barcelona as a child and there he joined X Sporting Club during the 1906-07 season, forming a great defensive partnership with Santiago Massana, José Irízar and the club's goalkeeper, Pedro Gibert. Together with them, he helped the club win two back-to-back Catalan championships in 1907 and 1908. In 1909, the club was effectively relaunched as the Club Deportivo Español, the name which still stands today.
