Cristián Reitze
Cristián Reitze Campos (13 March 1950) is a Chilean politician and businessman. He is a member of the Humanist Party of Chile (PH) and acted as president of the party. In 1993 he was one of the candidates for the presidency of Chile, representing the Humanist Green Alliance (Alianza Humanista Verde, AHV), but only gained 1.17% of the total valid votes; Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle was eventually elected. In the 1997 parliamentary elections, he was a candidate for senator for Santiago Poniente. After the elections, he continued to work inside the Humanist Party, and he dedicated himself to his family's business of selling cars. Progressive Union Of The Centrist Center
The Union of the Centrist Center (, UCC) — named Progressive Union of the Centrist Center (, UCCP) between 1994 and 1998 — was a small political party in Chile. The party was founded by supermarket tycoon Francisco Javier Errázuriz to support his candidacy in the 1989 presidential elections. Errázuriz claimed that he was the only true centrist candidate, although his political ideology was slightly center-right. Errázuriz won 15.05% of the vote, but achieved little politically except to take votes from the right-wing candidate, Hernán Büchi. Gladys Marín
Gladys del Carmen Marín Millie (; July 16, 1938 – March 6, 2005) was a Chilean activist and political figure. She was Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Chile (PCCh) (1994–2002) and then president of the PCCh until her death. She was a staunch opponent of General Augusto Pinochet and filed the first lawsuit against him, in which she accused him of committing human rights violations during his seventeen-year dictatorship.
