Coliseo Héctor Solá Bezares
Coliseo Héctor Solá Besares (English: ''Hector Sola Bezares Coliseum'') is an indoor arena, indoor sporting arena located in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Caguas, Puerto Rico. It is used mostly for basketball and was the home arena of Caguas Creoles (basketball), Caguas Creoles of the National Superior Basketball league. The capacity of the arena is 10,000 spectators. Also the Coliseo is the home ground for Criollas de Caguas volleyball team from Liga de Voleibol Superior Femenino. The coliseum has also been the venue for major boxing fights, including some with Miguel Cotto and Ivan Calderon (boxer), Ivan Calderon, and has been showcased on ESPN Friday Night Fights. Its also known for holding the first World Wrestling Council wrestling card in 1973. The coliseum sustained extensive damages as a result of Hurricane Maria on September 20, 2017. Caguas (, ) is a city and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the Central Mountain Range of Puerto Rico, south of San Juan and Trujillo Alto, west of Gurabo and San Lorenzo, and east of Aguas Buenas, Cidra, and Cayey. Caguas was founded in 1775. The municipality had a population of 127,244 at the 2020 census. Caguas is located from San Juan. Karina Ocasio Clemente (born August 1, 1985) is a volleyball player from Puerto Rico, who competed for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in eighth and last place, having received a wild card for the event after Peru and Kenya withdrew. Ocasio became "Best scorer" at the event, alongside Kazakhstan's Yelena Pavlova. Career She was part of the Puerto Rico women's national volleyball team at the 2002 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Germany., 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix, and 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. Annerys Victoria Vargas Valdez (born August 7, 1981) is a retired female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who won four consecutive gold medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games. Career 2003 She won gold medal with the women's national team at the 2003 Pan American Games in her home town Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. There she was awarded best server and blocker. Later that year, she won the Best Blocker and bronze medal at the 2003 NORCECA Championship. 2004 She plays as a middle-blocker and competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics for her native country which finished in 11th place. Cosiri Rodríguez Andino de Dionicio (born August 30, 1977, in San Cristóbal) is a retired volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who competed for her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, wearing the number #15 jersey. There, she ended up in eleventh place with the Dominican Republic women's national team. Career She started representing her home country in the 1993 Central American and Caribbean Games in Ponce, Puerto Rico. At the 2000 USA Open Championships her team won the championship and she was selected All-Tournament "MVP". Playing with the Spanish club Hotel Cantur Costa Mogán, Rodriguez won the 2003 Spanish Superleague Championship and the second place at the 2003 CEV Cup.
