Jack Forrester (director)
John McIntyre Forrester (19 February 1894 – 4 August 1964) was a Scottish-American professional golfer who played in the early-to-mid 20th century. His best finish in a major championship was fourth in the 1923 U.S. Open. He won the 1929 New Jersey PGA Championship while serving as head professional at Baltusrol Golf Club. Early life Forrester was born at 85 Port Street, Glasgow, Scotland, the son of James Forrester (died 1957) and Jane McIntyre (died 1916). His father was a ship rigger and boatman in the Coastguard Service. The family home was at Cairnryan House, Inch, Wigtown. Forrester and his siblings attended the Nicholson Institute at Stornoway. Daniel Mendaille
Daniel Mendaille (27 November 1885 – 17 May 1963) was a French stage and film actor whose career spanned nearly sixty years. Early life Born Daniel Henri Elie Mendaille in Tours, Indre-et-Loire, Mendaille studied architecture at the Académie royale d'architecture, Institut de France in Paris. At age twenty, he abandoned his studies in architecture and enrolled in the Conservatoire de Paris and studied acting under Paul Mounet. After graduating, he was engaged at the Théâtre des Variétés, Cirque d'Hiver, Théâtre Antoine and the l’Œuvre et de la Renaissance. Film career During the early 1900s, he began appearing in small roles in film. Monique Joyce
Monique Joyce (1912–1994) was a French model, singer and actress.Burch & Sellier p.157 She began her career appearing in Opéra comique. After winning the Mademoiselle Paris contest in March 1933 she received greater public attention and made her first film appearance that year. During the Occupation of France she appeared in several productions by the German-backed Continental Films that later led to charges of collaboration. Her final role was a supporting part in the 1943 film '' Late Love'' directed by Gustav Ucicky and made in Vienna. Following the Liberation of Paris in 1944 she headed to the Sigmaringen enclave where the Vichy government in exile was headquartered for the final months of the war. Elin Alberte Leonora Winding (born 23 August 1963), commonly known as Alberte, is a Danish singer and actress, and the daughter of Thomas Winding and Lulu Gauguin. She grew up in Copenhagen and on the island of Ærø. She worked together with her brothers Kasper Winding and Aske Bentzon on their father's programs for Denmark Radio. Alberte is well known for her appearance as Luna in several episodes of the Danish children's television show '' Bamses billedbog''.
