Crimewatch Solved
''Crimewatch Solved'' was a BBC television series that was a spin-off from the BBC's ''Crimewatch''. The first episode aired on BBC One in 1999 and was presented by Nick Ross. The final episode aired in September 2010 and was presented by Matthew Amroliwala. History First aired on 10 August 1999, a new yearly programme called ''Crimewatch Solved'' was transmitted. It was the fourth spin-off from the main ''Crimewatch'' programme. Originally presented by Nick Ross, the series includes cases, features and reports of crimes which resulted in convictions. Aside from 2002, a new edition was broadcast every year until 2010, when the thirteenth and final edition aired on 1 September 2010. Occasionally, episodes would review an entire high-profile case, such as an edition dedicated solely to the murder of Sarah Payne. Nick Ross
Nicholas David Ross (born 7 August 1947) is a British radio and television presenter. During the 1980s and 1990s he was one of the most ubiquitous of British broadcasters but is best known for hosting the BBC TV programme ''Crimewatch'', which he left in 2007 after 23 years. He has subsequently filmed a series for BBC One called ''The Truth About Crime'' and has made documentaries for BBC Radio 4. He is chairman, president, trustee or patron of a number of charities. Early life He was brought up in Surrey. His German Jewish father, Hans Rosenbluth, fled Germany in 1933 soon after the Nazi Party, Nazis came to power. In 1940 Rosenbluth was interned as an 'enemy alien' and sent from England to Australia on HMT Dunera, HMT ''Dunera''. When allowed to return, Rosenbluth changed his name to John Caryl Ross and joined the British Army's Royal Pioneer Corps, Pioneer Corps; he became an officer in 1945. BBC Television

Murder Of Sarah Payne
Sarah Evelyn Isobel Payne (13 October 1991 – c. 1 July 2000), was the victim of a high-profile abduction and murder in West Sussex, England in July 2000. Her disappearance and the subsequent investigation into her murder became a prominent case in the United Kingdom, as did the campaign for changes to child protection legislation that resulted from the murder. The murder investigation was also notable for the use of forensic evidence, which played a major role in securing a conviction. ''Crimewatch File'' was a British television programme which reconstructed the investigation of a single case that had previously been covered by ''Crimewatch'' which viewers had previously helped to solve. History Broadcast on BBC One, it was aired on an ad hoc basis and presented by Nick Ross and Sue Cook concurrently (with Jill Dando taking over from Cook in 1996 until her death), more than thirty editions aired until April 2000, when the final edition, fronted by Ross, was broadcast. Following the show's demise, in latter years of the main ''Crimewatch'' programme, episodes would regularly feature segments and reports on solved cases previously featured on the programme in a very similar vein to ''Crimewatch File''.
