Crime As Forgiven By Against Me!
''Crime as Forgiven by Against Me!'', or just ''Crime'', was the second EP released by punk band Against Me!. It was one of the first releases to achieve any level of circulation, due to their previous self-titled 12" only having sold 145 copies. The CD version contains six songs, although only four were on the vinyl edition that was released by Against Me!'s Sabot Productions. The CD version was released by Plan-It-X Records with two more songs, Impact and Burn. The CD was re-pressed by Sabot to include the bonus tracks. In early 2005, the band requested that Plan-It-X Records halt future represses of the CD version of Crime. Since then, it hasn't been in print. The record label was under no obligation to comply because there was no recording contract or exchange of rights. Against Me! (2000 EP)
''Against Me!'', the self-titled 12" EP by punk band Against Me! was their first EP release. It was released twice as an EP. There were originally 500 copies printed. However, due to a mastering defect or "recording error" on the vinyl, only 145 copies were originally released to the public, 50 of which were sold at the record release party. Thus, actual copies of the record are extremely rare, though the tracks are widely circulated on the internet. The remaining 355 copies were eventually released through personal sales by the band. No tracks on the album contain any electric instruments or drums, only acoustic guitars and an acoustic bass. The original vinyl version, released November 2001, had four tracks, and two extra songs were included on the CD version released in February 2003. Electric versions of several songs appeared on the band's debut full-length ''Against Me! Is Reinventing Axl Rose''. This EP was never officially titled. The words "Acoustic EP" do not appear anywhere on the album or in the liner notes. In a manner similar to that of the Beatles's ''White Album'', it is technically self-titled, but is nearly always referred to as The Acoustic EP, including on the band's official website.
