Crikey! It's The Irwins
''Crikey! It's the Irwins'' is an Australian reality television series starring Robert Irwin (television personality), Robert, Bindi Irwin, Bindi and Terri Irwin. The series follows the family of Steve Irwin, and their work at the Australia Zoo. It premiered on 28 October 2018, on Animal Planet. On 28 May 2020, it was announced that the show was renewed for a third season, set to premiere later in the year, and that the show would be airing a special episode entitled "Life in Lockdown" showcasing how the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia had affected operations at Australia Zoo on 11 July. The third season premiered on 7 February 2021 on discovery+ with the premiere episode also airing on Animal Planet after the ''Puppy Bowl''. Terri Irwin
Terri Raines Irwin (née Raines, born July 20, 1964) is an American-Australian conservationist, television personality and author who is the owner of Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland. She is the widow of Steve Irwin. Born in Oregon, she began working for an independent animal rehabilitation center for injured predator mammals at the age of 22 while working for her family's trucking business. While touring wildlife rehabilitation facilities in Australia in 1991, she had a chance meeting with Irwin. The two married in 1992, and went on to co-star in ''The Crocodile Hunter'', their unconventional television nature documentary series and its spin-off series, ''Croc Files'', ''The Crocodile Hunter Diaries'', and ''Crikey! Australia Zoo is a zoo located in the Australian state of Queensland on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Sunshine Coast near Beerwah, Queensland, Beerwah/Glass House Mountains National Park, Glass House Mountains. The red-necked wallaby or Bennett's wallaby (''Notamacropus rufogriseus'') is a medium-sized macropod marsupial (wallaby), common in the more temperate and fertile parts of eastern Australia, including Tasmania. The ''Puppy Bowl'' is an annual television program on Animal Planet that mimics an American football game similar to the Super Bowl, using puppies. Shown each year on Super Bowl Sunday, the show consists of footage of a batch of puppies at play inside a model stadium, with commentary on their actions. The first ''Puppy Bowl'' was shown on February 6, 2005, opposite to Super Bowl XXXIX. The puppies featured in the ''Puppy Bowl'' are from shelters.
