Crescent Lake Junction, Oregon
Crescent Lake is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Klamath County, Oregon, United States. It is situated northeast of Crescent Lake and south of Odell Lake on Oregon Route 58, and is next to Crescent Lake State Airport. Crescent Lake was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The north end of the CDP, at the intersection of Route 58 and Crescent Lake Highway ( Oregon Route 429), is known as Crescent Lake Junction. History The community of Crescent Lake was originally located along the Southern Pacific Railroad line, south by southwest of the current Crescent Lake Junction. The former site was built after the completion of a section of railroad in 1923 (opened in 1926) called the Natron Cutoff, in the Cascade Range.
