Creepin On Ah Come Up
''Creepin on ah Come Up'' is the debut EP by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The album was released on June 21, 1994, on Ruthless Records. In 1998, the album was selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums. History Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's first album includes the singles " Thuggish Ruggish Bone" and "Foe tha Love of $". Features on the album include vocalist Shatasha Williams and their mentor and executive producer Eazy-E. The first two lines of "Intro" are backwards. Played forward are "Heaven in art which Father our, Our Father which art in Heaven" Tracks 3, 4 and 6 have listed, "Keenu Songs" which is "U-Neek" spelled backwards. In The Source (8-97) article "Crossroads To Riches" Bone states that they changed their name to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony because they had a song called "Thugs-N-Harmony". Yomo & Maulkie
Yomo & Maulkie were an American hardcore hip hop duo from Los Angeles, California, composed of rappers Yomo (born Yomo Smith) and Maulkie (born Mark Eric Green). They were signed with Ruthless Records, the label owned by Eazy-E. Their discography consists of one studio album, which spawned three singles. The duo first worked with Eazy-E in 1989 when they provided additional vocals to The D.O.C.'s debut album ''No One Can Do It Better''. They were associated with the members of N.W.A., although the duo was not a gangsta group. Instead, its lyrics hewed more toward Public Enemy's political style. In 1991, Eazy worked with them again as executive producer for their only full-length album ''Are U Xperienced?'', which was distributed by Atco/Atlantic Records. The album's name is derived from Jimi Hendrix's 1967 album '' Are You Experienced?''. A bone is a rigid organ that constitutes part of the skeleton in most vertebrate animals. Bones protect the various other organs of the body, produce red and white blood cells, store minerals, provide structure and support for the body, and enable mobility. "For the Love of Money" is a soul/funk song that was written and composed by Kenneth Gamble, Leon Huff, and Anthony Jackson; it was recorded by Philadelphia soul group The O'Jays for the album ''Ship Ahoy.'' Produced by Gamble and Huff for Philadelphia International Records, "For the Love of Money" was issued as a single in late 1973 (see 1973 in music), with "People Keep Tellin' Me" as its B-side. The single peaked at number three on the U.S. ''Billboard'' R&B chart, and at No. 9 on Billboard's Pop Singles chart in spring 1974. Norman Washington "Junior" Giscombe (born 6 June 1957) is an English singer-songwriter often known as Junior who was one of the first British R&B artists to be successful in the United States. He is best known for his 1982 hit single, "Mama Used to Say". Career Giscombe was born in Wandsworth, London, England, and was a backing vocalist with Linx between 1980 and 1982. When turning towards a solo career, he was first billed simply as Junior. He scored a No. 7 hit in the UK Singles Chart in 1982, with "Mama Used to Say". His follow-up single, "Too Late" also made the top 20 in the UK. Steven Howse (born September 23, 1974), known professionally as Layzie Bone, is a rapper known primarily for being a member of the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. He has also gone by the names L-Burna and The #1 Assassin. He is the younger brother of fellow group member Flesh-N-Bone and cousin of group member Wish Bone.
